Rent a Car in Des Moines Near Comfort Inn & Suites Event Center
If you're staying with us at Comfort Inn & Suites Event Center, you're already close to some of the best rental companies in Des Moines. Most guests ask us the same thing at check-in — is it worth renting a car here? — and honestly, it depends on your plans. If you're sticking close to Des Moines and the immediate area, you probably won't need one. But if you want to explore Des Moines beyond the usual tourist stretch, or head out toward Des Moines Intl Airport without depending on rideshare surge pricing, having your own car makes the trip a lot less stressful.
We've partnered with rental providers that offer pick-up options close enough to walk to from the hotel, or a short shuttle ride if you'd rather not lug your bags. Note that Comfort Inn & Suites Event Center is Parking on site, Private parking, Accessible parking, Free Parking, Parking, so it's worth checking that detail before you book if you're planning to keep the car parked here overnight.
